WE SAW POSITIVE RESULTS

We first engaged Prime Waste to help us get our arms around the entire spend in terms of the industry, the key players, etc. By engaging them in a limited scope at a couple of our locations to help us reduce our total spend in waste and recycling.

They audited invoices for anomalies/inconsistencies from every vendor and provided feedback to the location managers on each location’s quality of sorting and frequency of hauls.

We saw positive results and after just two months, we expanded their involvement to the entire company and the results have been spectacular!

They worked directly with the vendors and helped us develop a roadmap for how we could reduce our sizable waste and recycling spend and then helped us to re-source the waste vendors by sending out for competitive bids on all services to minimize our overall spend on hauling and to maximize our rebates on corrugated. Prime Waste stays involved by auditing the invoices every month to ensure accuracy and adherence to the contract. Also, they continue to train and help reinforce best practices at our distribution centers towards optimizing our waste and recycling program.

In a matter of six months, we were able to lower our total spend by over 50% with the help of Prime Waste, and we are on our way to lowering it by another 30%.
